Delivery Terms

Delivery

Delivery is free on orders over €100 unless otherwise stated. For orders below €100 goods value, excluding VAT, a nominal fee of €10 will be charged.

Deliveries overseas will be charged at cost. Prior notification of costs will be given to customer before order acceptance is implemented.

Orders are usually dispatched the same or following day and should be with you within 3 working days. Our stock levels are always high, however we cannot always guarantee immediate availability of all items. Should an item be out of stock, we will do our utmost to advise you of the anticipated delivery time and to get the item to you in the shortest possible time.

Delivery of non stock items or special order items should take maximum 7 working days to delivery. Longer delivery times will be advised at time of order.

Delivery for large items such as furniture and bulky items will be charged at cost. Carriage will only be charged once per order, and will be at cost including packaging and insurance.

Special same and next day deliveries are available and are subject to individual quotation. Goods are delivered to your ground floor entrance. Please let us know at the time of order if you have restricted access to your practice or if a bulky item is going to need carrying a significant distance.

Please note we cannot accept delivery to PO Box addresses and recipient telephone number (mobile number is preferred) must be provided with each order.

We despatch all orders via DPD and GLS. We anticipate that all deliveries will arrive as specified, however Fitzmedical Supplies cannot accept any liability for any delayed or lost deliveries.

Our delivery days are Monday to Friday. Saturday delivery can be requested and an extra charge may apply. Collection from your local DPD office on a Saturday is available for no extra charge. Please contact us for more information. Please notify us of surgery hours, especially half days or special surgery hours.

A signature will be required to acknowledge delivery. The signature of the person accepting the delivery at the address will be proof that you or the person, to whom the order is addressed, has received the delivery.

Quantity
Delivered Every effort will be made to deliver the quantity as ordered. Any shortages or claims of shortages must be brought to the company’s attention in writing within 3 working days. Any claims thereafter will not be entertained and cannot be used as an reason for non payment of account. Any complaint of failure to deliver goods invoiced must also be notified to Fitzmedical Supplies in writing within 3 days of the date of the delivery.

Breakages and Restriction of Liability
The customer must check all goods at the time of delivery, as signature of a consignment note without endorsement may constitute acceptance. If the customer upon receipt does not check the goods then he must endorse the courier’s consignment note as “unexamined”. Any damages, breakages or shortages must be reported in writing within 3 days of delivery, otherwise no claim will be considered after this time.
