LuxSutures Luxycryl Monofast Absorbable Surgical Sutures are synthetic monofilament sutures manufactured from Polyglecaprone 25, engineered for fast absorption and predictable tensile strength reduction in rapidly healing tissue. Intended for use in superficial soft tissue closing and/or ligation; especially in general surgery, skin closure, plastic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, gynaecology, urolog.

The hydrolytic action by which the material is broken down results in total absorption in approximately 90 to 120 days. Approximately 60% of tensile strength remain after 7 days.
